Not been out at Ainsdale much this year - most sessions are at Ynyslas.

But up visiting relatives, so went down to Ainsdale. Rangers were checking permits - so good news that mine is valid.

Had a brilliant 2 hour session on my new board, very smooth, keeps speed up in the lulls, but also can kill the power if need be.

Not quite got the toeside carves sussed on this board, it's quite a bit more skatey than the Redline 132cm it's replacing, and initially keep sliding out.

Much better pop, smooth landings, and works well with the Vegas.

Managed to land a backloop - so must give this five stars. OK, I know it's only a backloop (and all the other attempts I crashed), but still a brilliant feeling. Also landed a backloop on the other tack as well.

Now need to practice so I can land more than I crash:-)
